Published in December 2020, the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) Task Force Report is the most comprehensive study of the MMIW injustice in the history of the Minnesota Legislature.
The 163-page report addresses the systemic institutions that should be involved in reducing and eliminating violence against and helping Indigenous women and girls heal from violence.
To discuss the MMIW Task Force Report and its findings, two members of the Task Force joined us live:
- Senator Mary Kunesh, Minnesota State Senate, MMIW Task Force Steering Committee member
- Sheila Lamb, Advocate with Life House, MMIW Task Force member
